Rivka Levin

Doctoral Candidate, Clinical-Developmental Psychology

Rivka Levin is a Doctoral Candidate in Clinical-Developmental Psychology at York University, where her research focuses on emotion regulation, eating disorders, and neurodivergence. She brings a neuroaffirming and gender-affirming approach to her work, with a commitment to assessments that support self-understanding and access to appropriate care.

Rivka completed her doctoral residency at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), where she received advanced training in assessment and intervention with autistic and trans and gender diverse individuals. She has also trained at the Hospital for Sick Children, Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK), and the York University Psychology Clinic. Rivka has experience conducting psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments with children, adolescents, and adults, including identifying subtle or masked presentations of autism and combined autism and ADHD (AuDHD) profiles.

At Autism Wellness, Rivka provides autism and ADHD assessments under the supervision of Dr. Alex Porthukaran, Clinical Psychologist, along with broader psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments depending on client needs. Clients receive a detailed report with individualized recommendations, practical strategies, and resources, along with a follow-up session to review findings and support next steps.
