Neha Benny
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Neha Benny holds a Master of Science in Psychology and has over three years of professional experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and is eligible to complete post-master’s supervised work experience toward registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO). Neha provides services in English, Hindi, and Malayalam.
Neha recognizes that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, particularly when it is difficult to put experiences into words or know where to begin. She creates a warm, collaborative space where clients do not need to have everything figured out or feel pressure to say the “right” thing. Her goal is to meet each person where they are and support them in developing a deeper understanding of themselves, their needs, and what matters most to them.
Coming from a multicultural background, Neha brings sensitivity to the ways culture, family expectations, identity, migration, and changing environments can shape our experiences and well-being. She supports clients in exploring what feels authentic and meaningful to them rather than defining themselves according to external expectations.
Neha’s therapeutic approach is integrative, evidence-based, and individualized. She draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Person-Centered Therapy. She balances emotional attunement with structured, goal-oriented work to help clients build insight, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
Languages: English, Hindi, and Malayalam.
