Erica Park-Coutts
M.A. / M.Psy. (cand.) Master's Practicum Student
Erica holds an M.A. in Child Study and Education and is currently completing her Master's of Clinical Psychology degree. She provides assessment services under the supervision of Dr. Alex Porthukaran and Dr. Iris Rose at Autism Wellness.
For more than 15 years, Erica has worked in the children's mental health field, supporting neurodivergent children, youth, and their families in therapeutic recreation and community-based settings. This experience has strengthened her belief that neurodivergent individuals thrive when they feel understood, connected, and confident in who they are.
As a mother of two, Erica has a particular interest in family systems, parenting, and the experiences of neurodivergent families. She is passionate about helping individuals better understand how their minds work and develop a clearer understanding of their strengths, challenges, and support needs.
Erica also has specialized training in perinatal mental health and has provided individual therapy to pregnant, postpartum, and young parents. Her areas of interest include autism, ADHD, anxiety, family systems, parenting, perinatal mental health, and neurodiversity-affirming care.
